Description

Energy Regulation: Recovering, Building Mental Readiness and Sustaining Performance

Two days to master short recovery and mental preparation techniques for the workplace

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Days run into one another with no genuine break: one meeting follows the next, the lunch break is spent clearing messages and the evening begins already depleted. Fatigue signals are spotted far too late, at the point where recovery demands considerably more time.

This 14-hour programme puts short regulation techniques drawn from mental preparation into practice: breathing, muscular release, mental imagery and rapid recovery. Participants learn to gauge their energy level, select the technique suited to the moment and embed it within an ordinary working day.

Learning objectives

  • Identify personal signals of declining and excessive energy load
  • Practise a breathing technique suited to a given situation
  • Perform a short muscular release sequence in a work setting
  • Use mental imagery to prepare for a demanding deadline
  • Organise recovery periods across a day and across a week

What makes this programme different
