Description
Energy Regulations: Tracking New Requirements and Renewables
Make sense of fast-moving energy requirements and pinpoint those that actually apply to your building portfolio
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Energy requirements have accumulated layer upon layer: consumption reduction targets for commercial buildings, periodic energy audits, equipment obligations for rooftops and car parks, and grid connection of on-site renewable generation. Each framework has its own scope, timetable and exemptions. Asset and facilities teams lose considerable time simply establishing what genuinely applies to them.
This one-day 7-hour programme brings order to the regulatory landscape. Participants learn to position the main requirements affecting buildings and activities in the UAE, verify which ones concern their own portfolio, understand the expected declaration and reporting steps, and identify the opportunities associated with renewable energy.
Learning objectives
- Position the main energy requirements applicable to buildings in the UAE
- Determine which of them concern your own property portfolio
- Prepare the declarations and supporting evidence expected
- Identify the arrangements that allow on-site renewable energy generation
- Organise a regulatory watch that is useful and sustainable
