Description
Environment Manager: Framing the Role, Tracking Compliance and Engaging Teams
Take up the environmental role without limiting it to regulatory monitoring or filing supporting documents
- 0.75 days — 5.25 h
- In-person or virtual
- All levels
- Up to 6 participants
The environmental function is often added to an existing role. Obligations accumulate without anyone having defined the exact scope of the mission. Discharges, waste and consumption are tracked inconsistently. Requirements arrive from the authorities, from a client or from head office, and each one triggers a response handled under pressure.
A half-day virtual session to frame the role before performing it. You define the scope and the stakeholders involved. You organise regulatory monitoring and the tracking of site obligations. You prepare the arguments that move an environmental issue forward with senior management and production teams.
Learning objectives
- Define the scope of the environmental role and the associated responsibilities
- Identify the environmental obligations applicable to the site and their deadlines
- Organise workable regulatory monitoring without devoting excessive time to it
- Build a tracking dashboard for the site's environmental indicators
- Present an environmental issue to senior management with operational arguments
