Description

Executive Stress: Recognising Your Warning Signs, Recovering and Sustaining Performance

Three days to address your sources of pressure and embed sustainable recovery habits

  • 3 days — 21 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Management roles concentrate sources of pressure: constant availability, decisions taken without complete information and accountability for the work of others. Many managers cope in bursts and then pay the price through disrupted sleep and strained personal relationships.

This 21-hour programme separates what stems from the way work is organised from what stems from personal reactions. Participants identify their recurring sources of pressure, test short recovery techniques, review the way they handle incoming demands and build a prevention plan that holds up long after returning to the workplace.

Learning objectives

  • Recognise your personal warning signs of pressure before exhaustion sets in
  • Distinguish between sources of stress linked to work organisation and those linked to yourself
  • Apply two recovery techniques that can be used during the working day
  • Reorganise the handling of incoming demands to reduce mental load
  • Set availability boundaries with your team and your line management
  • Build a personal prevention plan monitored over several months

What makes this programme different

An individual diagnosis of pressure sources completed within the first half-day
Recovery techniques tested between sessions and then reviewed by the group
A personal prevention plan with scheduled checkpoints
