Description
Facilitating the Climate Fresk: preparing the workshop, guiding the group and running the debrief
Run a Climate Fresk workshop from the first set of cards through to the action phase
- 1.25 days — 8.75 h
- In-person or virtual
- All levels
- Up to 6 participants
Having taken part in a Climate Fresk workshop is not enough to facilitate one. The facilitator must keep to time, re-engage a group stuck on cause-and-effect links, welcome reactions that are sometimes intense, and avoid both a guilt-inducing message and false neutrality.
This one-day programme prepares participants to facilitate: mastering the sequence of card sets, guiding the collective placement of cards, managing discussion during the presentation stage, then running the debrief and action segment. Participants facilitate sequences with one another and receive precise feedback on their posture and their time management.
Learning objectives
- Run the full workshop sequence from the first set of cards to the presentation stage
- Guide a group in building cause-and-effect links
- Welcome emotional reactions without steering the debate
- Facilitate the debrief and the discussion of action levers
- Adapt the format to the time available and to the audience
