Description
Family Wealth Management: Analyse, Structure and Transfer
Build a wealth strategy that reflects the couple, the children and the family's life projects
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Families accumulate assets over the years without the whole ever forming a strategy: a marital arrangement entered into without reflection, a property held jointly with relatives, a life insurance policy whose beneficiary designation has never been reviewed. The difficulties surface at the time of a separation, a lifetime gift or a death.
Two days to put a method of analysis in place: draw up the household's wealth statement, connect the family situation to the applicable marital and personal status framework, then compare ownership and transfer options. The case files cover blended families and portfolios combining a main residence, rental property in the UAE and financial investments.
Learning objectives
- Draw up a household wealth statement and identify its imbalances
- Connect the family situation to the applicable marital property framework and its effects
- Compare the available ways of holding a real estate asset
- Identify the transfer tools suited to a given family objective
- Analyse a life insurance beneficiary designation and measure its effects
- Present a wealth diagnosis in terms the client can understand
