Description
Financing Growth: Structuring the Need, Selecting Sources and Negotiating Terms
Build a financing plan that supports growth without weakening the company's financial balance
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Expert
- Up to 6 participants
Growth consumes cash before it generates any. Companies that accelerate often discover too late that their working capital requirement is rising faster than their earnings. Funding is then sought under pressure, which narrows the range of available sources and weakens the terms obtained.
These two days are designed for experienced practitioners. Participants learn to quantify the funding requirement created by a growth plan, then to build a plan combining several sources. They work on the balance between debt and equity, as well as on negotiating terms and the contractual undertakings attached to them.
Learning objectives
- Quantify the funding requirement created by a growth plan
- Distinguish between financing the operating cycle and financing investment
- Compare funding sources according to their cost and their constraints
- Structure a financing plan combining debt and equity
- Negotiate financial terms and the related contractual undertakings
