Description
Human Skills and AI: Judging, Verifying and Owning Your Decisions
A one-day programme to sharpen your judgement and interpersonal skills when working with AI support
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Generative AI tools have become part of everyday work. A significant share of writing and analysis can now be delegated in seconds. The risk lies less in the tool than in the erosion of vigilance. Outputs are accepted without verification. Judgement calls are handed over. The professional's own contribution gradually becomes unclear.
This 7-hour programme is designed for users who already have hands-on experience. It focuses not on the tools themselves but on what remains distinctly human: framing a clear intention, then assessing an output, then owning the decision that follows. Participants work on their real-world use cases and define their own decision rules.
Learning objectives
- Identify the share of human judgement that remains engaged in an AI-assisted task
- Frame a precise intention before calling on a generative tool
- Assess a generated output against criteria defined in advance
- Justify to your team a decision taken with the support of a tool
- Define your own usage rules and share them across the team
What makes this programme different
Programme
1Identifying your added value
What the tool handles and what it does not
- Mapping your tasks according to the share delegated to the tool
- Identifying the stages where human judgement remains essential
- Observed effects on vigilance and on taking initiative
- Framing an intention before any request to the tool
2Applying critical thinking
Reviewing and deciding on a generated output
- Building a review grid tailored to your role
- Spotting approximations and unverifiable claims
- Checking the sources and data cited
- Deciding whether to keep, correct or discard an output
3Holding your place within the team
Explaining, owning and setting boundaries
- Making the case for a decision taken with the support of a tool
- Responding to objections from a colleague or a client
- Transparency rules on the use of the tools
- Drafting a usage charter at team level
Who is it for
Professionals already using generative AI tools in their day-to-day work, and managers of teams equipped with these tools.
