Description

IFRS Updates and Sustainability Reporting: Tracking, Interpreting and Applying the Changes

Stay current with IFRS developments and how they connect with sustainability reporting

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • All levels
  • Up to 6 participants

Consolidation teams work with standards that evolve quickly and whose practical consequences often become clear only late in the cycle: successive amendments, regulator positions and interpretations that differ from one group to another. Added to this is the rise of sustainability reporting, where data must be reconciled with the financial statements even though methodologies are not yet fully settled.

Two hours to review recent developments in IFRS standards and their concrete effects, then the links between financial information and sustainability information. The short format gives priority to the application questions raised by participants.

Learning objectives

  • Identify recent developments in the IFRS framework
  • Assess the effect of an amendment on consolidated accounts
  • Recognise the areas of attention raised by regulators
  • Connect financial information with sustainability information
  • Adapt internal procedures to the changes adopted
