Description
Insurance Solvency Framework Level 1: Anticipating Regulatory Change, Adjusting Calculations and Steering
Understand what the revision of the framework-level regulation changes in practice for prudential steering
- 0.43 days — 3 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Revisions to risk-based solvency frameworks affect the framework-level regulation itself, and actuarial teams need to gauge the impact early. Risk functions know that change is coming, yet rarely identify precisely which building blocks are affected or when the transition applies. As a result, industry work is followed from a distance and internal decisions are postponed for want of a clear reading of the text.
This three-hour virtual masterclass reviews the known changes to the framework-level regulation and their announced effective dates. Each change is linked to the internal workstreams concerned, so that every participant leaves with a list of topics to address within their own organisation.
Learning objectives
- Position the framework-level regulation within the overall solvency regulatory architecture
- Identify the building blocks of the text affected by the revision
- Link each change to the actuarial and financial workstreams concerned
- Assess the expected effects on the prudential balance sheet and on steering
- Build an internal preparation roadmap
