Description

Market Abuse E-Learning: Identifying Practices, Reacting and Reporting

Give every employee the right reflexes when faced with sensitive information or a questionable transaction

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Any employee of a financial institution may come into contact with inside information without recognising it as such. A transaction discussed in a meeting or a document sent to the wrong recipient is enough. The expected reflexes are not always known and insider lists remain widely misunderstood.

This short e-learning programme raises awareness among all employees, whatever their role. It sets out the main categories of market abuse through brief, concrete situations. It explains what to do when sensitive information is received and recalls personal obligations regarding transactions and confidentiality.

Learning objectives

  • Recognise inside information in an ordinary working situation
  • Distinguish the main categories of market abuse using practical examples
  • Apply the correct course of action when sensitive information is received in error
  • Comply with the rules applicable to personal transactions and confidentiality

What makes this programme different

The programme is delivered in short sequences that fit around operational workloads
Every concept is introduced through a real situation before the rule is explained
Validation quizzes provide a record of learning for each sequence
