Description

Midjourney — AI-Generated Images: Writing Prompts, Iterating and Using the Output

Produce visuals you can genuinely use, instead of accumulating approximate images that never leave the folder

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

First attempts at image generation are entertaining, then disappointing: the result does not match the brief, characters change from one attempt to the next, and the file obtained does not suit the intended medium. Teams also hesitate about what they are allowed to publish.

This seven-hour day focuses on producing usable visuals. Participants learn to describe an image precisely, to control framing, style and lighting, to generate variations and then retouch a proposal, and to obtain a file suited to its destination. Professional usage precautions are addressed at the end of the day through concrete cases.

Learning objectives

  • Write a generation prompt describing subject, framing, style and lighting
  • Generate variations of a proposal and select the direction to develop further
  • Control the format, aspect ratio and level of detail of a visual
  • Retouch an area of an image or extend the frame without regenerating everything
  • Maintain visual consistency across several images in the same series
  • Prepare a generated visual for its distribution channel and document its production

What makes this programme different

Each participant leaves with a series of consistent visuals produced for a real deliverable
A library of annotated prompts is built up throughout the day
Precautions to take before publication are reviewed using cases brought by the group
