Description
Mind Mapping: Organising Ideas, Preparing Files and Sharing Your Thinking
Replace linear lists with a visual representation that shows the links between ideas at a single glance
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- All levels
- Up to 6 participants
A complex file rarely fits into a list. Ideas connect to one another, trade-offs depend on several factors, and linear note-taking loses those links. You then reread pages of notes without recovering the overall logic, and explaining the matter to someone else becomes laborious.
Two days to build readable mind maps by hand and on screen, to use them for taking notes, preparing a presentation, conducting an analysis or facilitating a group session, and to share a line of reasoning with a team.
Learning objectives
- Build a structured mind map around a central topic
- Select the branches and keywords that make a map readable
- Use mind maps to take notes in meetings or training sessions
- Prepare a presentation or an analysis from a map
- Facilitate a collaborative working session using a shared map
