Description
No-Code with Airtable, Make and OpenAI: Model, Automate and Connect AI
Build a first application and an automated workflow without writing a single line of code
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Project teams accumulate shared spreadsheets, manual reminders and copy-paste work from one tool to another. Requests sent to the IT department sit in a queue, even though the need is often simple: a structured database, a form and a few automations.
This one-day programme introduces three complementary building blocks: Airtable to structure data, Make to chain actions between applications, and OpenAI to process text within the flow. Participants build one complete use case end to end and leave with the criteria that distinguish a sound no-code use from a project that genuinely requires software development.
Learning objectives
- Structure data in an Airtable base suited to the requirement
- Create views and forms that a team can work with
- Build an automation scenario in Make
- Integrate OpenAI text processing into a scenario
- Assess whether a no-code solution or custom development is the right answer
What makes this programme different
Programme

Replacing the shared spreadsheet
- Tables, fields and data types
- Relationships between tables and linked records
- Views, filters and groupings according to use
- Data entry forms and sharing with the team
2Automating with Make
Chaining actions between tools
- The concepts of scenario, trigger and module
- Connecting Airtable, email and a file storage space
- Filters, conditions and error handling
- Step-by-step testing and going live with the scenario
3Adding OpenAI processing
Putting AI to work within the flow
- Calling a model from a Make scenario
- Writing stable and reusable instructions
- Checking outputs before distribution
