Description
Pay Transparency: Understanding the Rules, Informing Employees and Adjusting Practices
Three hours to measure what pay transparency changes in the day-to-day practice of HR
- 0.43 days — 3 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Pay transparency is not simply an indicator to publish. It affects the job advertisement, the recruitment interview and the answer given to an employee who asks what pay levels apply to their role. It also affects the clauses that until now prevented employees from discussing their remuneration. Many established practices become difficult to maintain.
This three-hour masterclass sets out the principles now shaping pay transparency in international and multinational employment practice, and their concrete consequences. Participants identify the practices in their own organisation that need to evolve, examine the sensitive points of the recruitment process and leave with a prioritised list of actions.
Learning objectives
- Restate the core principles of pay transparency as applied in international employment practice
- Identify the recruitment practices that need to evolve within your organisation
- Anticipate individual employee requests for information on remuneration
- Revise job advertisement and offer letter templates
- Prioritise the HR workstreams to be launched according to their level of urgency
