Many Photoshop users work directly on the background image, stack layers without naming them and start again from scratch as soon as a correction is requested. Cut-outs bleed around hair, colours shift when printed, and files delivered to suppliers are rejected because the format or resolution is unsuitable.

These two days establish a non-destructive working method in Photoshop. Participants master demanding selections, adjustment layers, masks and smart objects, retouch photographs convincingly and export files that match their intended use.

Prerequisites

Use of Photoshop for simple retouching and familiarity with the concept of layers.

Before the programme

Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
