Power BI — Decision-Ready Dashboards: Connecting Data, Modelling and Visualising

Monthly reporting is assembled manually from several data extracts. Figures are copied and pasted, product codes are realigned and charts are rebuilt from scratch. Production takes several days and the smallest new data source sends the whole process back to the beginning. Recipients increasingly ask to filter the figures themselves.

This one-day programme of 7 hours is a first hands-on introduction to a dashboarding tool. Participants connect data sources, transform imported data, create relationships between tables, write a few measures and then build an interactive report. The whole session is based on a sales dataset in AED, so that a publishable dashboard is delivered by the end of the day.
