Description

Psychosocial Risks and Quality of Working Life: Assessing Risks, Structuring the Approach and Steering Actions

Move beyond token action plans and act on the way work is genuinely organised

  • 5 days — 35 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • All levels
  • Up to 6 participants

Psychosocial risks often appear in the occupational risk register as a single generic line, while quality of working life is reduced to a handful of social events. The serious signals surface late: repeated sick leave, a run of resignations in one department, entrenched conflict between a team and its line management.

Five days to build an approach that addresses work organisation and not only individuals. The programme sets out the framework and the roles of each stakeholder, conducts an assessment of risk factors, handles serious individual cases, then structures an action plan steered over time.

Learning objectives

  • Position the respective roles of the employer, employee representatives and prevention stakeholders
  • Identify risk factors linked to the organisation of work
  • Conduct a psychosocial risk assessment within a business unit
  • Handle a serious individual case reported within the organisation
  • Build an action plan connected to the occupational risk register
  • Steer the approach over time using indicators that are actually monitored

What makes this programme different

The assessment is conducted on a real department, including the design of the interview grid
Serious individual cases are handled with a clear division of roles between stakeholders
The action plan produced is linked to the occupational risk register rather than treated separately

  • Balance protection of the individual with the follow-up action taken
  • Avoid reactions that make the situation worse

5Building and steering the action plan

Embedding the approach over time
