Description
Public Speaking: Prepare, Project Your Voice and Convince
Speak in front of a group without being overwhelmed by nerves and deliver a message that stays with your audience
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Many professionals know their subject inside out yet lose their composure the moment an audience is looking at them. Breathing becomes shallow, delivery speeds up and the thread of the argument is lost. The message comes across blurred although the content was sound. The difficulty rarely lies in the substance: it comes from preparation, breathing and the relationship with the audience.
Two days to build a presentation that holds together, work on your voice and physical grounding, tame stage fright and practise in front of the group. Each participant speaks on camera several times and leaves with a personal development plan drawn from their own recorded sessions.
Learning objectives
- Structure a spoken presentation around one core message
- Project your voice and control your pace so you are heard effortlessly
- Use posture, eye contact and grounding to occupy the space
- Manage stage fright before and during the presentation
- Handle audience questions without losing the thread
