Description

Social Media: Choosing Your Platforms, Publishing and Engaging Your Community

Select the platforms that genuinely serve your business and maintain a realistic publishing rhythm

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Opening an account is simple; keeping it alive is far harder. Many organisations publish irregularly, duplicate the same message everywhere and cannot say whether the effort is producing anything. Teams also hesitate over the right tone and over how to handle an unpleasant comment.

One day to understand how each platform is actually used, build a workable calendar and produce your first posts. Every participant leaves with a one-month editorial calendar completed and a clear set of rules for responding to comments.

Learning objectives

  • Understand the usage patterns and audiences of the main social platforms
  • Select the networks suited to your business and your resources
  • Build a workable one-month editorial calendar
  • Write a post adapted to the format and tone of the chosen platform
  • Respond to comments and messages according to rules agreed in advance
  • Read the analytics provided by the platforms in order to adjust your posts

What makes this programme different

The editorial calendar is built during the day around the participant's real business activity
Posts drafted in session are reviewed collectively before going live
A response guide for difficult comments is written as a group
