Description

Visual Content: Setting a Brand Style, Producing and Adapting Formats

Two days to produce consistent visuals adapted to every format without going through an agency

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Posts follow one another and each one uses a different typeface, colour and crop. Visuals are produced under pressure from templates found online, then resized by eye. The account loses its visual signature and the text laid over the images becomes unreadable on a phone screen.

These 14 hours provide a working method for producing still images. Participants define a visual style they can realistically maintain, build a library of templates matched to social media and website formats, then produce, adapt and export a series of visuals ready for publication.

Learning objectives

  • Define a visual style that can be sustained with the resources available in your organisation
  • Build a library of templates matched to publication formats
  • Produce a visual that remains legible on a phone screen
  • Adapt the same message to several formats without rebuilding it from scratch
  • Organise source files so they can be reused from one campaign to the next

What makes this programme different

A library of templates in social media formats that participants take away
Visuals produced during the session using the organisation's own content
A legibility checklist to apply before publication
