Description
Work-Life Balance: Framing, Organising and Holding the Line
Regain control of the boundary between work and personal life without guilt and without cutting yourself off from your team
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Days overrun. Messages arrive in the evening, urgent requests eat into the weekend, and the mental load keeps running long after the laptop is closed. Many people simply grit their teeth and carry on, until fatigue settles in for good and starts to weigh on work as much as on private life.
One day to identify what genuinely unbalances your organisation, to put tenable boundaries into words and to negotiate them with the people you work with. You leave with a set of simple personal rules and a rebalancing plan to implement over the following weeks.
Learning objectives
- Identify the situations in which work spills over into personal life
- Analyse how your time is genuinely distributed across a typical week
- Put clear boundaries into words regarding availability and response times
- Negotiate those boundaries with your line manager and colleagues
- Build a rebalancing plan monitored over several weeks
