Description

Retirement, Protection and Long-Term Care: Assess, Compare and Advise Your Client

Bringing retirement, protection and long-term care together in a single wealth review

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Clients want to know what income they will have once they stop working. The answer goes well beyond a pension figure: their future resources also depend on the cover they hold in the event of illness or injury, on the protection arranged for their spouse, and on their capacity to fund a loss of autonomy. These topics are usually handled separately, and often by different advisers.

Over two days, the programme sets out an integrated approach. Participants learn to reconstruct the client's overall position, read accrued entitlements and existing cover, identify the gaps that remain unprotected, and compare savings and protection solutions before drafting a written, well-argued recommendation.

Learning objectives

  • Reconstruct the client's personal and professional situation
  • Analyse accrued retirement entitlements and existing protection cover
  • Identify unprotected needs in the event of incapacity or death
  • Compare retirement savings solutions by tax treatment and accessibility of funds
  • Draft a written and well-argued wealth recommendation

What makes this programme different

A single client case is followed from the fact-find through to the written recommendation
Savings solutions are compared on liquidity and on exit arrangements
Business owner and employee situations are addressed side by side
