Description

Corporate Mergers: Anticipating People Impacts, Supporting Teams and Maintaining Dialogue

Two days to support your teams when the organisation merges or restructures

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

A merger or a major reorganisation unsettles established reference points. Teams start asking about roles reporting lines and working conditions while line managers hold only partial information. Rumour fills the space left empty and key talent begins to look elsewhere.

These two days focus on the human dimension of such operations. You will work on reading the impacts on the organisation sequencing information preparing frontline managers and supporting teams coming from different corporate cultures.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the people impacts of a merger integration or reorganisation project
  • Map the employee populations concerned and the key points requiring attention
  • Build an information plan aligned with each stage of the project
  • Prepare frontline managers to answer questions from their teams
  • Anticipate the risk of losing business-critical skills

What makes this programme different

A merger integration case study runs as a common thread across both days
Dedicated sessions on the questions that cannot yet be answered
A support plan template completed for your own organisational context
