Description
Cross-Generational Management: Understand, Adjust and Build Cooperation
One day to lead employees of all ages without relying on generational labels
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
An experienced team member refuses to adopt the new tool. A recent hire asks for weekly feedback and leaves on time. A manager younger than the team finds their authority questioned. Generational explanations circulate freely but do nothing to resolve the situation.
One day focused on differences in age, length of service and career stage. You identify the expectations actually voiced within your team. You address common tensions around availability, tools and legitimacy. You design a knowledge transfer arrangement between experienced employees and new joiners.
Learning objectives
- Identify the expectations employees actually voice beyond generational labels
- Adapt your follow-up approach to each person's length of service and experience
- Address a tension linked to attitudes towards work or digital tools
- Organise knowledge transfer between experienced employees and new joiners
- Build working pairs that make the most of differences in experience
