Description
CAPM: Entry-Level Project Management Certification – Learn, Practise, Pass
Five days to build the theoretical foundation required by an entry-level certification and to practise
- 5 days — 35 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Without a long track record of leading projects, it is difficult to have project competence recognised on a CV. Graduates and project contributors know scattered tools but not the framework that connects them: they can maintain a schedule without being able to name the process it belongs to.
This thirty-five-hour programme covers the body of knowledge expected by an entry-level certification: terminology, life cycles, knowledge areas and agile fundamentals. It differs from the programme reserved for experienced project managers through a step-by-step progression that starts from first principles.
Learning objectives
- Define the standardised concepts and terminology of project management
- Distinguish predictive iterative incremental and adaptive life cycles
- Describe the knowledge areas and the deliverables associated with each
- Apply the core techniques of planning estimating and monitoring
- Work through annotated exam questions and measure your progress
