Description

Social Ads: Targeting, Creative Production and Advertising Budget Management

Launch targeted paid campaigns, test creatives and spend your budget where it delivers results

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Social advertising campaigns are quick to launch but difficult to manage properly: audiences that are far too broad, a single creative run until it burns out, budget split blindly across platforms, and results discussed on the basis of impressions alone. Measurement has become even more complex with tracking restrictions on browsers and mobile devices.

Two days to structure a campaign from targeting through to analysis: selecting the objective, building audiences, producing several creative variants, allocating budget and reading results. All set-up is carried out step by step on a demonstration account.

Learning objectives

  • Select the campaign objective aligned with the intended outcome
  • Build audiences and avoid overlap between ad sets
  • Develop an advertising creative into several testable variants
  • Allocate budget across platforms and formats
  • Interpret cost per result and decide on trade-offs

What makes this programme different

Campaign set-up is carried out step by step on a demonstration account
Each participant produces three variants of the same advertisement and compares them
A budget trade-off table is completed using the participant's own figures
