Description

Diversity and Inclusion: Measuring Gaps, Deploying the Plan and Tracking Results

Moving from good intentions to a measurable action plan on diversity and the employment of People of Determination

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Diversity and inclusion policies come up against two difficulties. Without factual, quantified findings the subject remains open to debate, and scattered initiatives change nothing in day-to-day practice. Where disability is concerned, perceptions in particular slow down recruitment and workplace adjustments are often made far too late.

Two days to establish an evidence-based picture of your organisation and then build an action plan covering both HR processes and manager practices. Job retention is addressed through concrete, real-life situations.

Learning objectives

  • Identify situations of discrimination within HR processes
  • Build an evidence-based picture of the organisation from available data
  • Adapt recruitment and career progression processes to limit bias
  • Handle a workplace adjustment request and organise job retention
  • Build an action plan with owners and deadlines
  • Raise manager awareness without putting them on trial

What makes this programme different

The participant's own HR processes are reviewed step by step to identify risk points
Job retention is practised through concrete workplace adjustment situations
The resulting plan separates what belongs to processes from what belongs to managers
