Description
HR Dashboards: Selecting Indicators, Producing and Commenting on Them
Two days to move from an HR report nobody opens to indicators that trigger decisions
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Every month the department produces a file of HR indicators. The figures are accurate but nobody comments on them. Absence and turnover rates are calculated differently depending on who you ask, and management requests analyses the dashboard cannot deliver.
These 14 hours address the design and ongoing life of an HR dashboard. Participants select indicators linked to the decisions expected, define their calculation rules precisely, organise data collection and build a readable layout. The final session covers the written commentary that accompanies the figures and the review of the dashboard over time.
Learning objectives
- Link each indicator to a decision or a form of monitoring that is expected
- Define the calculation rule and scope of each indicator without ambiguity
- Organise data collection and verify reliability before publication
- Design a dashboard that a non-specialist reader can understand
- Write a commentary that explains variations and proposes next steps
