Description

Training Management: Mastering the Framework, Building the Plan and Securing the Budget

Three days to acquire the practical and governance foundations of corporate training management

  • 3 days — 21 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Training management is often added to an existing role. The questions arrive without warning. Which route applies to this employee. What can be funded. What to tell a manager who has already promised a course. Which documents must be kept. Answers are improvised case by case and approval deadlines are sometimes missed.

These 21 hours provide the foundations you need. You position the stakeholders and the available routes. You distinguish what the employer must provide from what it chooses to provide. You build a skills development plan and its budget. You identify approval circuits and the supporting documents expected. You leave with clear reference points to handle routine requests on your own.

Learning objectives

  • Position the stakeholders involved in corporate training and their respective roles
  • Distinguish the employer's obligations from the initiatives it chooses to undertake
  • Build a skills development plan and its associated budget
  • Identify the appropriate route for an individual training request
  • Assemble a complete funding and approval file within the expected deadlines
