Description

DISC Method: Identifying Colour Profiles, Adapting Your Message and Improving Everyday Exchanges

Read how someone operates within minutes and adjust the way you speak to them

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The same argument convinces one person and irritates the next. The first wants to move quickly, the second asks for evidence, the third wants to discuss the human context first. Without a reading framework, professionals repeat the same message and put the outcome down to chance.

This 14-hour programme is built on a reading of observable behaviour across four tendencies associated with colours. Participants identify their own profile, then practise recognising that of others and adapting their message accordingly. Exercises are drawn from sales, management and teamwork situations.

Learning objectives

  • Identify your dominant profile among the four behavioural tendencies
  • Recognise a counterpart's dominant tendency from observable cues
  • Adapt your vocabulary and pace to each tendency
  • Conduct a sales meeting taking the client's profile into account
  • Anticipate friction between opposing profiles within a team

What makes this programme different

Practical training in profile recognition using replayed exchange sequences
Meeting guides for each tendency, ready to use as soon as you return to your desk
