Description
Decision-Making: Framing the Problem, Making the Call and Owning It
Decide under uncertainty without postponing the call or falling into your own reflexes
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Some decisions drag on for weeks: another analysis is requested, one more stakeholder is consulted, and everyone waits for information that never arrives. Others are made far too quickly, on a simple impression. In both cases the cost is real: missed opportunities, teams left waiting and trade-offs that keep coming back to the table.
Two days to structure the way you decide: framing the real problem, building genuinely different options, setting your criteria before comparing, spotting your biases and owning the decision in front of the people concerned. The methods are applied to live decisions brought by participants.
Learning objectives
- Frame the problem to be addressed before looking for solutions
- Build genuinely distinct options rather than variations on a single idea
- Compare options using weighted criteria
- Identify the biases that distort your judgement
- Announce and own a decision in front of stakeholders
