Description

Corporate Real Estate and Flex Office Projects: Scoping, Sizing and Leading Change

Lead a workplace fit-out project with Flex Office, from occupancy diagnosis through to move-in

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

You pay for the full floor plate while actual occupancy stays low several days a week. Executive management is asking for a smaller footprint and teams fear losing their desks. The project is launched on a sharing ratio agreed in committee, with no occupancy measurement behind it.

These two days provide the method for leading a corporate real estate project that incorporates Flex Office. You measure actual occupancy before sizing anything. You build a space programme consistent with how teams really work. You prepare the project brief. Finally, you organise the support given to teams all the way to move-in.

Learning objectives

  • Measure actual space occupancy and analyse how spaces are used
  • Size a fit-out project on the basis of occupancy data
  • Build a space programme aligned with how teams work
  • Draft the project brief for a workplace fit-out
  • Organise support for teams through to move-in
