Description
CSR: Defining the Language, Mapping Stakeholders and Starting to Act
Understand what corporate social responsibility changes in the day-to-day decisions of your role
- 0.14 days — 1 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
CSR comes up in meetings without everyone attaching the same meaning to the term. Some understand it as regulatory compliance, others as communication, others again as waste sorting. This confusion holds engagement back: no one knows what the approach expects of their position, or which first step to take.
This one-hour module establishes shared reference points. Participants distinguish CSR from sustainable development and from compliance, identify the stakeholders of their own activity and pinpoint, within their own remit, one action that can realistically be delivered in the short term.
Learning objectives
- Distinguish corporate social responsibility from sustainable development and regulatory compliance
- Describe the three dimensions covered by a CSR approach
- Identify the stakeholders concerned by your own activity
- Prioritise stakeholder expectations according to their importance for your role
- Select one corporate social responsibility action that applies to your position
