Description
Employee Profit-Sharing and Savings Schemes: Distinguish, Calculate and Explain
One day to master value-sharing mechanisms and explain them simply to employees
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
A profit-sharing scheme was approved years ago and no one can still explain the formula behind it. Employees confuse the annual bonus pool, the performance incentive and the workplace savings plan. Payments land in accounts without explanation, and the scheme loses its effect on both motivation and retention.
This one-day programme is designed for HR and payroll professionals who already administer these schemes. It separates profit-sharing, performance incentive and employee savings mechanisms and clarifies how they fit together. Participants work on reading an incentive formula, on allocation methods between beneficiaries, and on the communication delivered to employees at the time of payment.
Learning objectives
- Distinguish profit-sharing
- performance incentive and employee savings plans
- Analyse an incentive formula and measure its effects
- Build allocation criteria consistent with the scheme in force
