Description

Facilities Management: Mapping Site Risks, Prevention and Business Continuity

Move from handling incidents as they arise to a structured anticipation of site risks

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Facilities teams spend their days resolving what was never anticipated: a failed chiller unit, an underperforming service provider, an unauthorised access, a water leak. Each incident consumes time and confirms that the risk was known but never addressed.

These two days establish a preventive approach. Participants learn to map the risks of their own site, maintain the schedule of mandatory inspections, secure their service contracts and prepare business continuity in the event that the premises become unavailable.

Learning objectives

  • Map the risks associated with the building and its operation
  • Prioritise risks according to severity and likelihood
  • Plan maintenance and mandatory periodic inspections
  • Secure service contracts and the supervision of contractors
  • Prepare business continuity in the event that the premises become unavailable

What makes this programme different

Each participant maps the risks of their own site during the session
Service contract clauses are reviewed from the angle of provider failure
A loss-of-premises scenario is run through to full resumption of activity
