Description

Google Workspace: Sharing, Co-Authoring and Team Organisation

Work together on the same documents without exchanging attachments or multiplying versions

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Documents circulate as attachments. Three versions coexist and the latest one is never the one you think it is. Useful files are buried in email threads and nobody can find the minutes of the previous meeting. Reviews are carried out through successive exchanges that stretch out approval timelines.

These 14 hours move the team from the attached file to the shared document. Participants organise a common storage space, set access rights and write together in real time. They use comments for reviews, the shared calendar for meetings and forms to collect responses.

Learning objectives

  • Organise a shared storage space and name files consistently
  • Set the access rights of a file or folder according to the recipient
  • Write a document collaboratively and track the history of changes
  • Conduct a review using comments and suggestions
  • Create a collection form and make use of the responses
  • Schedule an online meeting from a shared calendar

What makes this programme different

A four-handed review is conducted live on a single document
