In many organisations, health, safety and environment responsibility is assumed to be shared but is written down nowhere. The QHSE manager drives the agenda without authority, front-line supervisors are unclear about what falls to them, and senior management discovers its exposure only when an incident occurs or an inspection takes place.

This 7-hour programme is designed for professionals who are taking ownership of the subject. It maps employer duties and employee duties, shows how decisions of the courts and regulatory findings define the expected standard of care, and helps you formalise delegations, documents and evidence so that responsibility is genuinely carried where it is actually exercised.

  • Compensation for harm and employer liability where prevention has failed
  • Criminal exposure of the legal entity and of individuals
  • Administrative sanctions and orders to suspend works
  • The environmental dimension and harm caused to the surrounding environment
  • Parallel proceedings and the realistic chronology of a case

3Safeguarding the organisation day to day

Delegations, evidence and response

  • Conditions for a valid delegation of authority in health and safety
  • Formalising instructions and keeping records of job-specific training
  • Evidence that measures are effective and upkeep of the risk register

Before the programme
Online positioning questionnaire. Your development objectives are shared with the trainer, who tailors the practical case studies to your context.
Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
