Description
HR Change Management: Diagnosing Resistance, Engaging People and Supporting Teams
Deliver a reorganisation without leaving your teams and managers behind
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
An organisational or system change is decided quickly and rolled out poorly. Employees hear the news in fragments, managers relay a project they have not fully understood, and HR steps in once tensions are already entrenched. Resistance is then treated as a people problem rather than as a signal about how the work is actually done.
Two days to intervene earlier and more usefully, from diagnosing the impact on day-to-day work through to monitoring the roll-out. Participants work on a change project that is under way or about to begin.
Learning objectives
- Analyse the concrete impact of a project on how teams work
- Identify stakeholders and their position towards the change
- Build a sequenced change support plan
- Prepare managers to carry the project to their teams
- Handle objections and situations of deadlock
- Monitor warning signals during the roll-out
What makes this programme different
