Description

Notion — Collaborative Workspace: Structure, Automate and Track a Project

Two virtual days to build a shared project workspace that is genuinely kept up to date

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Project information ends up scattered across email, spreadsheets and shared documents: the schedule sits in one file, meeting notes in an inbox, and decisions nowhere at all. Everyone re-enters the same data and no one knows which version is authoritative.

These fourteen virtual hours show how to centralise project tracking in an online collaborative workspace: linked databases, views tailored to each use, reusable templates and simple automations. The programme focuses on project use rather than on a general tour of the tool.

Learning objectives

  • Structure a project into interlinked databases
  • Configure views suited to steering and to day-to-day work
  • Build a project template that can be reused from one engagement to the next
  • Set up automations for updates and reminders
  • Organise access rights and sharing with external contributors

What makes this programme different

Each participant builds their own project workspace during the programme
The template produced can be reused immediately on subsequent projects
The virtual format allows participants to work directly in their own working environment
