Description

Professional Resilience: Absorbing Pressure, Recovering and Bouncing Back for the Long Term

One day to move through difficult periods without burning out and to regain your capacity to act

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

The workload increased and never came back down. A reorganisation wiped out the work of the past few months. Sleep deteriorates and irritation creeps into even the simplest exchanges. The temptation is to hold on a little longer without changing anything.

One day to regain control over what is within your reach. You identify your personal overload signals and the sources of support you already draw on without thinking. You test short recovery techniques that can be used between two meetings. You formulate a limit you can sustain and leave with a personal vigilance plan for the months ahead.

Learning objectives

  • Identify your personal overload signals before reaching breaking point
  • Distinguish what is within your control from what is not in a situation imposed on you
  • Apply recovery techniques that fit into a working day
  • Use a setback or an imposed change to adjust your professional practice
  • Formulate a limit to your management line or to your counterparts

What makes this programme different
