Description

Self-Image and Charisma: Strengthening Your Presence, Posture and Impact

Two days to develop the physical and vocal presence that gives weight to what you say

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Foundation
  • Up to 6 participants

Two people say exactly the same thing and only one is listened to. The difference rarely lies in the content: posture, eye contact, voice, pace and the way you occupy the room carry considerable weight in how a message is received, in meetings as much as in one-to-one discussions.

This 14-hour programme works on the image you project and the impact you create. Participants identify the gap between the image they believe they convey and the one others actually perceive, then work on posture, voice and eye contact through filmed exercises. The final session focuses on high-stakes situations such as presenting to a management committee.

Learning objectives

  • Identify the gap between the image you believe you project and the one you actually project
  • Adjust your posture and use of space when speaking in public
  • Work on pace, volume and the use of silence in the way you express yourself
  • Sustain eye contact with an audience throughout a presentation
  • Formulate a message that gets to the point from the opening sentences
  • Adapt your presence to a one-to-one discussion, a meeting and a management committee

What makes this programme different

Filmed sequences reviewed individually with feedback from the group
Practical work on voice, eye contact and use of space under realistic conditions
A closing presentation before a simulated committee, prepared during the programme
