Description
Team Motivation: Identifying Levers, Recognising Contribution and Reviving Commitment
Understand why a capable employee stops investing effort — and act before withdrawal sets in
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
Team motivation cannot be mandated, and financial levers are rarely in the manager's hands. Yet the signals are visible: an employee who no longer puts anything forward, a team that delivers without initiative. The usual responses produce only short-lived effects.
These two days focus on the levers a manager can genuinely act upon: the interest of the work assigned, recognition, room for autonomy, career perspectives and the quality of the working relationship. Participants analyse the situations of real team members and build individualised actions ready to apply on return to the workplace.
Learning objectives
- Recognise the signs of disengagement in a team member
- Identify the motivation levers specific to each individual
- Assign tasks that match each team member's expectations
- Express recognition grounded in specific achievements
- Conduct a discussion with a team member who has withdrawn
