Description
Teamwork: Cooperating Day to Day, Deciding Together and Delivering on Commitments
Getting people who did not choose one another to work together and to make decisions that actually hold
- 1 day — 7 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
A capable team does not cooperate automatically. Remits overlap, some topics belong to no one, decisions taken in a meeting quietly unravel over the following week and unspoken tensions end up slowing everyone down. Goodwill alone cannot compensate for an unspoken framework.
One day to make cooperation explicit: clarifying roles and grey areas, agreeing ways of working, using collective production methods that give every view a place, deciding according to a stated rule and tracking the commitments made. Participants work on a live project from their own team.
Learning objectives
- Clarify roles
- responsibilities and grey areas on a shared project
- Agree ways of working accepted by the whole team
- Facilitate collective work that takes minority views into account
- Track the commitments made and address disagreements without delay
