Description
Training Automation: Tools, Content Production and Quality Control
Save time on learning content production without losing control of quality or accuracy
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Intermediate
- Up to 6 participants
Experienced trainers spend an increasing share of their time producing materials: slide decks, quizzes, scenarios and session reports. Automation and artificial intelligence tools promise to ease that workload, but improvised use produces hollow content that is poorly aligned with learning objectives and sometimes factually wrong.
These two days focus on the disciplined industrialisation of learning design: structuring templates, writing precise instructions for generative tools, systematically checking outputs and automating repetitive follow-up tasks. Each participant leaves with a production workflow applied to one of their own modules.
Learning objectives
- Structure a learning design workflow that can be reused from one module to the next
- Write precise instructions to obtain usable outputs from a generative tool
- Check the instructional and factual accuracy of automatically produced content
- Automate repetitive learner follow-up and assessment tasks
- Define acceptable uses of generative tools within your organisation
What makes this programme different
Programme
1The Learning Production Workflow
Industrialise without standardising everything
- Mapping design tasks and the time they consume
- Templates for learning scenarios and module outlines
- Resource library and naming conventions
- Deciding what must still be written by hand
2Instructions and Generative Tools
Obtaining usable output from the first request
- Anatomy of an effective instruction: role, context, constraints and expected format
- Generating case studies and quizzes aligned with learning objectives
- Reworking existing content for a new audience
- Limits of these tools on regulatory and technical content
3Quality Control of Generated Content
Verify before you release
- Instructional and factual review checklist
- Spotting vague statements and unverifiable claims
- Source traceability and the trainer's accountability
- Protecting learner data and client content
4Automating Follow-Up and Assessment
Reduce administration to free up delivery time
- Automating invitations, reminders and certificates of attendance
- Producing and marking pre- and post-session assessments
- Dashboards for tracking learning pathways
- Usage rules to be formalised within the organisation
