Description

Wealth Diagnostic: Assessing the Situation, Advising and Following Up

Conduct a complete wealth diagnostic that leads to prioritised recommendations you can defend

  • 1 day — 7 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Client meetings often turn into product presentations. The information gathered remains partial, the family and marital situation is skimmed over, the client's objectives are not prioritised, and the recommendation does not survive the first question about its tax or succession consequences.

This seven-hour programme structures the advisory process. Participants learn to conduct a complete fact-find, to analyse the civil, tax and financial dimensions of a situation, to build reasoned and quantified recommendations, and then to organise follow-up and the traceability of the advice delivered.

Learning objectives

  • Conduct a complete and structured wealth information fact-find
  • Analyse the civil, tax and financial dimensions of a situation
  • Prioritise the client's objectives and liquidity constraints
  • Build quantified and reasoned recommendations
  • Draft an engagement report evidencing the advice delivered
  • Organise periodic follow-up and updating of the diagnostic

What makes this programme different

A complete client file is handled from the fact-find through to the written report
Recommendations are tested on their civil effects before their tax effects
Traceability of advice is addressed from the angle of the professional's liability
