Description

Psychosocial Risk Prevention Level 1: Diagnose, Substantiate and Report

Produce a psychosocial risk diagnosis that withstands challenge and leads to useful action

  • 2 days — 14 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Expert
  • Up to 6 participants

Psychosocial risks first appear as symptoms: repeated absences, tension within a team, alerts raised by employee representatives or by occupational health professionals. Without a method, the analysis drifts towards personalising conflicts, the findings are contested and the action plan is reduced to individual measures.

These two days equip you for the diagnostic phase: setting up the joint governance framework, selecting sources and methods, conducting interviews and workplace observations, analysing risk factors by work unit and then reporting the findings. You leave with a complete approach, from the terms of reference to the presentation of results to management and employee bodies.

Learning objectives

  • Define the framework and mandate of a psychosocial risk diagnosis with stakeholders
  • Select relevant indicators and data sources
  • Conduct individual and group interviews focused on actual work activity
  • Analyse risk factors by work unit rather than by individual
  • Report usable findings and prioritise possible courses of action

What makes this programme different

Practice in coding risk factors from anonymised interview transcripts
Drafting the terms of reference and diagnostic protocol during the session
Handling sensitive individual situations revealed during a diagnosis
