Description
Administrative Support and Collaborative Tools: Sharing, Coordinating and Facilitating
Working on the same documents as a team without lost versions or messages crossing each other
- 2 days — 14 h
- In-person or virtual
- Foundation
- Up to 6 participants
The collaborative tools have been rolled out, but everyone uses them their own way. Documents still travel as email attachments and come back in several versions. Conversations are scattered between the mailbox and chat channels, and nobody can say where the latest decision was recorded.
Two days to establish shared practices: organising a shared workspace that remains readable over time, choosing the right channel for each exchange, co-editing a document without getting in each other's way and running a remote meeting. The usage rules are drafted during the session so that they can be proposed to the team.
Learning objectives
- Structure a shared workspace that remains readable over time
- Choose the appropriate channel according to the nature and urgency of the exchange
- Co-edit a document while managing versions and comments
- Organise and run a remote meeting that keeps to its agenda
- Draft usage rules that the team accepts and can apply
