You have held the role for several sprints and the basics are no longer an issue. The difficulties have simply shifted. The backlog grows faster than it is cleared. The sprint review turns into a demonstration without decisions. Stakeholders ask for quarterly visibility that the sprint alone cannot provide.

These two days build on the introductory programme for the role and focus on the core of Scrum. You will structure continuous backlog refinement. You will connect every item to a measurable product goal. You will build a release projection that holds up under scrutiny. You will also prepare for the assessment of your competence against the Scrum framework.

Prerequisites

Have performed the Product Owner role for several sprints or have completed an introductory programme on the role.

Practical details

Before the programme
Online positioning questionnaire. Your development objectives are shared with the trainer, who tailors the practical case studies to your context.
Teaching methods
Theoretical input, workshops and practical case studies. Digital course materials and method sheets provided.
Assessment
Multiple-choice tests and role-play exercises. Assessment of learning at the start and end of the programme, with immediate and 60-day follow-up evaluations.
After the programme
One year of access to the e-learning platform. Self-assessment of the skills acquired and a 30-day follow-up session with your trainer.
