Description

Agile Project Culture: Understanding the Principles, Shifting Habits and Collaborating

Understand what agility genuinely changes in the way decisions are made and work is shared

  • 0.43 days — 3 h
  • In-person or virtual
  • Intermediate
  • Up to 6 participants

Agile vocabulary tends to circulate within an organisation long before the practices take root. Teams speak of iterations and backlogs while still working from a frozen specification and a single final sign-off. The gap between the language on display and the decisions actually taken discourages teams and blurs accountability.

Three hours online to return to the principles and what they truly imply. Delivering in increments means accepting that requirements will be revisited and that decisions should be taken as close as possible to the work itself. This session builds a shared culture across a group. It does not train participants for a specific role or a particular framework.

Learning objectives

  • Explain the principles underpinning an agile approach
  • Distinguish genuine agile practice from borrowed vocabulary
  • Identify what agility changes in the relationship with the sponsor
  • Position your own contribution within a team working in iterations

What makes this programme different

The session starts from the practices already in place among participants
The most common misunderstandings about agility are addressed one by one
The short online format fits into half a morning of work
